I'm still going to the movies. I still play video games. (Devil May Cry 3, anyone?) Not doing much reading for pleasure lately. What I am doing is listening to a lot of music. Seems to be the only thing that's sticking as of late, particularly as I'm on this Spring Break that's not really a break at all. 3. Gaelle - "Haiti:" OK. This is making me look bad. There are no lyrics to this song. Instrumental.
4. Me'Shell NdegeOcello/The Spirit Music Jamia - "Al-Falaq 113:" No lyrics for this, either. It's all instrumental, son.
5. Goapele - "Butterflykisses:" Don't discriminate/or isolate me/please let me be myself/I want to wear what I want to wear/and say whats on my mind.
6. Amerie - "1 Thing:" It's this 1 thing that's got me trippin/It's this 1 thing that's got me trippin (you did)/This 1 thing my soul may be feeling/It's this 1 thing you did oh oh (You try to resist the damn chorus.) 10. Black Eyed Peas - "Sexy:" It's not really the lyrics that I care about. Pligga nease. It's the background music. I don't really want to like this shit. But OK.
11. Brandy - "Focus:" Don't wanna lose my focus/But it's bound to leave/Every time you come runnin' into me/You come runnin' runnin'/Oh, what we used to be/Shouldn't even matter to me
12. Talking Heads - "Burning Down the House:" Watch out you might get what you're after...
13. Marvin Gaye - "Sanctified Lady:" This is like my secret spinner. My gf has me listening to this and all I can say is, Marvin sure was raunchy. I hope you don't think this song is all about church. *chuckle*

I'm still trying to understand what Amerie is saying in the adlibs of 1 Thing. It sounds like "gobble gobble gobble" to me.

Yay for Prince, Marvin, Mechelle and Amerie but where is the Green Day and the shallow heart thats the only thing beating?
