If you are tired of this layout, please raise your hand. *raising hand* I should change it, but for some reason, I just haven't. And I have to say that Wordpress has MT beat in terms of folks creating cute layouts/templates. The premade layouts for MT3+ are scarce. That, coupled with the spam issues that just won't die, makes me about this close to saying the hell with MT. Come on and help the busy/lazy folks out, and make some attractive MT templates for downloading and usage! :) All time casino games for mobile to gamble

The gap between my entries continues to grow, and well...that's just the way it is. *chuckle* It's a stressful time. A busy time. Things are moving along full steam (finally) and I am caught up in all that. I've started thinking about the things I will do after this degree is finished (this summer, thank God). Mainly, I do not want to be trapped in some job that I am not feeling. That thought is guiding the job search that I'm doing. posicionamiento web

Mainly, I have just been staying very close to home. Trying to connect more with family members and friends that have pretty much been neglected throughout graduate school. I am burnt out on people (all people except for the "right" people) and am just...focused on so many things right now.

Finally, it seems like there is some good music out. For awhile there, it seemed like slim pickings. I've primarily been listening to Tori Amos anyway, so who cares? But, Verve Remixed 3 is out, as is some new stuff from Tweet, Garbage, Everything but the Girl. iTunes is my friend, so I'm copping some stuff from Ciara (I try not to like these damn singles of hers, but I can't help myself), T.I., Karen O. (from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and India Arie. I'm still undecided on Macriah Scarey's Emanicipation of Mimi.

Speaking of music, a few thoughts. Am I alone in thinking that 50 Cent comes across as a tad unbalanced? This could just be his persona, but something ain't right about that bwah. J.Lo needs to stop. She is not even pretending to appear as though she really can sing. We all knew she couldn't, but come on. And what's up with Gwen Stefani and this stable of Japanese girls she takes everywhere? The rumor that she only allows them to speak Japanese aside, exoticize/fetishize much? Boo for that. And why do so many music artists decide to come out with clothing labels? Yes, that's all we need - another label that closely resembles other labels, and is ridiculously overpriced and full of shit that nobody will wear. Please be original and decide to come out with your own flower shop or something.

That's all, folks. I will perhaps return in another month with something more substantive. :) Oh yeah, update your address book. New email address: alltheseyears[at]gmail[dot]com.

I hear you with the whole "changing the layout" debate. I go through the same thing. But one of the reasons I don't do it because I have seen people say, "Hey yall, next week I will have a cool new layout", and when they change it it is absolutely garbage. Great post.

Still chuckling at the 50 Cent comment. And 'cause you told me to, I i'm getting Verve 3. Now the trick is to listen to all this other music I have.

Heh, well, so many stars have clothing lines because their record deals pay so little. They often end up owing the record companies money after they have to pay them back for the cost of the studio time, producers, creating the record, etc; Even if they sell a million, most of the money goes to the record companies. Touring and clothing lines sales are the only real ways that an artist can make money.

Ariya, thanks for the perspective. That makes sense. I guess I just think that, on some level, coming out with your own clothing label has become "the" trend. It's a little...annoying. Although I do understand that folks gotta make money and being a star is not always as lucrative as it seems.
