thunderbird
Life is good. It dawned on me that Cassandra Wilson's new album, thunderbird, is the first actual CD I've bought in I don't know how long. iTunes has been my best friend. I just haven't been inspired to buy a whole CD. But I'm happy I bought this album. Cassandra's voice is a wonderful, heady, physical thang. I was needing something...different, and this was it. This CD is where I'm at right now. I could listen to "Closer to You" and "Poet" all day long. Cop that. Posted on April 13, 2006 09:55 PM

j- It's my favorite work by Cassandra too. I love what she has done with the music and the beats and how that works with her voice. But that's just a repeat of what you said. :) EJ - which song?
